Sunday Morning by Maroon5

ヴォーカルのアダム・レヴィーン (Adam Levine)、ギター担当のジェイムス・バレンタイン、キーボード担当のジェシー・カーマイケル、ベースのミッキー・マデン、そして、ドラムのマット・フリンで形成されている5人組のMaroon5。


結成時のメンバー5人のうち4人は、ロス・アンジェルスにある中学校時代からの仲で、Brentwood School（ブレントウッド・スクール）時代に、 アダムとジェシーはミッキーとライアン（ドラム担当・肩の故障のため脱退）と出会い、Kara's Flowersを結成しました。なんと高校在学中にKara's Flowersは一枚だけですが、アルバムを出しています。Maroon5と名前を変えたのは2001年以降です。


さて、この「Sunday Morning」はMaroon5の4枚目のシングルです。 「Sunday Morning」は、アメリカ、イギリス、そして、オーストラリアでTop 40入りを果たしています。

2007年5月22日にリリースされたMaroon5のセカンドアルバム、It Won't Be Soon Before LongはなんとBillboard 200でトップの座をいきなり奪い、発売1週間で429,484枚の売り上げを達成するという快挙を成し遂げた。
